Key members of MaxEn Capital LLC and Westwood Energy Systems, Inc. joined forces in early 2007 to establish MaxWest Environmental Systems. The mission of MaxWest Environmental systems is to help business, industry, and government convert their waste into green energy.
MaxEn Capital LLC is an investment banking firm based in Houston, Texas, that strives to incorporate sustainable, environmentally efficient technology into its project finance solutions. Each year, the company allocates portions of its net earnings to socially responsible businesses, education, and foundations.
The MaxEn Capital mission is to provide advisory services to its clients, institutional investors and private equity sources relative to project development financing.
For its clients - domestic and international project development firms, EPC contractors and municipal-based, public and private partnerships - MaxEn Capital arranges capital structuring and investment capital from banking, capital market, institutional, private equity, and other structured credit sources. In addition to its project-financing specialty, the firm can arrange corporate working capital and financing for mergers and acquisitions.
Westwood Energy Systems is a former subsidiary of Westwood Fibre Ltd., a forestry company based in Kamloops, British Columbia, CA. MaxWest Environmental Systems has acquired Westwood Energy Systems. Westwood Energy designs and manufactures bio-energy gasification systems that enable customers to convert their waste into clean, renewable energy. The Westwood Gasifier system is a patent-pending method ideal for businesses with high energy needs and waste material on site. Processing waste on site reduces disposal and transportation costs in addition to minimizing air and water pollution.
Westwood Fibre also offers a full range of forestry services and specializes in selective forest harvesting. Westwood has a long history of planning and implementing sustainable forestry and prides itself in practicing world-class forest stewardship.
Our management team has vast experience in the identification of applicable technologies and the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects. Bringing a unique blend of innovative application of the right technology to the right challenge, we provide consistent results. MaxWest Environmental Systems is just beginning, but it is being built on the knowledge, experience and reliability of our management team.
